The 10 Commandments of Hyperfocus | Ep. 60
There are a lot of misconceptions about people with ADHD, and their ability to focus.
Often, people think we have a total lack of focus, or are incapable of focusing on one thing for an extended period of time.
When in reality, people with ADHD have a focus superpower… it’s called Hyperfocus.
To be fair, we can’t always control what we hyperfocus on, but whatever it is, it becomes our sole objective, and everything else, all other stimuli, are blocked out.
It can be very difficult for us to control, or direct, this focus on any task that we want. But… about a decade ago, I found the 10 commandments of Hyperfocus that allows me to wield this power of immense focus.
What was once my weakness is now a superpower.
